GAT endured a disappointing start to their KCC Falcons Champions Trophy T20 Gold campaign, losing their opening match against Centurions United Spartans by 43 runs. Centurions United posted 155 runs in 20 overs, before GAT managed only 112/9 in their 20 overs. 

In an earlier Falcons Champions Trophy fixture against Royal Lions CC, they posted an impressive 223/6, with Shiburaj Ramachandran scoring 63 off 44 balls and Aromal Sivakumar adding 47 off 31. 

Helton Anto is their leading run-scorer with 72 runs in two matches, with a highest score of 68. Nithin Samuel is the leading wicket-taker for them with seven wickets with a best figure of five wickets for 25.

Stallions CC head into the contest on the back of a convincing victory against Royal Challengers Kuwait. They restricted the opposition to 87 runs in the first innings and chased down the total with 47 balls left. Rohan Wijewardana and Harischandra Priyakanth claimed two wickets apiece. 

Earlier, they had a dominating victory over Bengal Tigers. They posted 229/3 while batting first, thanks to Sandaruwan Chinthaka's 26-ball 70. Mohamed Simsan and Atheef Gafoor added a half-century. The Tigers were bowled out for 85 runs with Rohan Wijewardana picking up a four-wicket haul. 

In the opening game, the Stallions were bowled out for 107 in 15 overs. AP XI chased down the target in 15.1 overs to secure a five-wicket victory. Sandaruwan Chinthaka was the standout batter for Stallions, scoring an impressive 60 off 42 balls. 

Sandaruwan Chinthaka could be a player to watch out for. He has scored 139 runs in three innings with two half-centuries. Atheef Gafoor and Mohamed Simsan will also be important in providing a solid start at the top of the order. Rohan Wijewardana is their best bowler, picking eight wickets in three matches at an average of 7.00. Manjula Prasan also claimed three wickets.
