The Women's Vitality Blast has been a huge success in 2025 with the crowds flocking to support the tournament and plenty of high quality cricket on offer across all teams.
Having said that, there is a wide gulf from Somerset on six points in the bottom place in the table to Surrey at the top on 37 points, that's a gap of 31 points!
And although it is Surrey who are leading the way in the table, they are up against the only team to have beaten them in this campaign - The Blaze who won by 17 runs on June 11th.
As hosts, The Blaze should be well supported in this clash and they can close the gap on the leaders if they come out on top on Friday afternoon.

With only one defeat all campaign, The Blaze have had an excellent season so far and they will not be worried about Surrey's visit to Trent Bridge on Friday afternoon.
The hosts will also be keen to get back to winning ways after their last fixture, at home to Durham on Sunday, was ended after just 4.1 overs. That said, The Blaze were in a strong position having taken a wicket and seeing Durham put just 16 runs on the board.
So their last full game was against Hampshire in Chesterfield, a match which the Blaze won by 37 runs despite Kathryn Bryce making just seven runs with the bat.
Heather Graham (73) and Ella Claridge (51*) were most impressive with the bat before Kathryn Bryce took a four wicket haul for the second successive game and the Blaze will fancy their chances of doing the group stage double over the league leaders!

It was another victory for Surrey on Wednesday evening when they travelled to Edgbaston and saw off Warwickshire by four wickets with two balls remaining to pull clear at the top of the Women's Vitality Blast.
It was a team effort with the ball as the hosts were bowled out for 139 from 19.3 overs. Grace Harris was the only bowler to go wicketless from the seven player attack with Alexa Stonehouse (2/23) and Alice Davidson-Richards (3/11) the standout performers.
With the bat, captain Bryony Smith impressed with five fours at the top of the order before Emma Jones top scored with 46 runs from 39 balls.
Grace Harris is a formidable player in this format and Alice Davidson-Richards should be feared by the Blaze bowlers after she struck 28 not out from 18 balls against Warwickshire.

Trent Bridge has always been a venue which has delivered high scoring contests in white ball cricket and we expect the same in this game between the Blaze Women and Surrey Women on Friday.
With Surrey winning three of their last five games by bowling first, we predict that both captains will want to bowl first in this match on Friday afternoon in Nottingham.
Although it was the Blaze Women who won the previous head to head this season, we expect that result to have hurt the Surrey Women players. We also anticipate a reaction from the league leaders and are predicting a victory for the visitors on Friday afternoon.
