Toss Winner - UAE Bulls won the toss and choose to bowl first

UAE Bulls beat Quetta Qavalry by 8 wickets

The team that scores around 45 runs in the powerplay overs will have the better shot at victory. UAE Bulls did that in the Eliminator, and will back themselves to do it again.

  • A score of around 115-125 will be tough to chase at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium.
  • For Quetta Qavalry, Liam Livingstone, Khawaja Nafay, and Muhammad Waseem are favorites to make an impact.
  • UAE Bulls will rely on Philip Salt, Tim David, and Rovman Powell to deliver match-winning performances.

Pick UAE Bulls as the winners of the second Qualifier.

The playoffs of the Abu Dhabi T10 League are underway, and Qualifier 2 will see Quetta Qavalry taking on UAE Bulls at Sheikh Zayed Stadium. Quetta have been one of the best sides of this season by far, but have lost some steam of late after losing two in a row heading into this clash. On the other hand, the Bulls appear to be peaking at the right time and have built two commanding wins on the trot to reach here. So get ready for a cracker of a contest.

Quetta Qavalry Preview

Quetta Qavalry have delivered a strong campaign to this point, moving straight into Qualifier 1 after collecting six wins from seven matches in the opening stage. They were stopped by Aspin Stallions in that fixture, but the side has enough strength to respond well in Qualifier 2 as they seek another chance at reaching the final.

Their batting list carries substantial depth, and opener Liam Livingstone plays a major role in shaping their scoring pattern. His 139 runs at a strike rate of 170 show the sort of impact he can create, and the team will hope he turns early momentum into longer knocks as the tournament heads into its tougher rounds.

Muhammad Waseem and Andries Gous provide strong cover around him and handle different match positions smoothly. Waseem holds 11 T10 fifties overall and another this season, and his comfort on these surfaces has been evident as he has surged to the top of the team’s batting charts with 176 runs at a powerful strike rate of 200.

Khawaja Nafay has helped steer the later overs and lift the scoring rate when required. Nafay has been outstanding, putting up 157 runs at a strike rate of 253, a reflection of how well he raises the tempo through the central portion of the innings.

Their bowling unit provides a wide spread of skills that allow them to manage various match situations. Jason Holder and Abbas Afridi have secured 13 wickets between them and deliver spells that guide the innings toward controlled phases. Khuzaima Tanveer and Mohammad Amir have added 15 wickets, and their combined overs help determine how the contest moves from one stage to the next.

Quetta Qavalry Predicted Playing XI:

Evin Lewis, Muhammad Waseem, Andries Gous(w), Irfan Khan, Liam Livingstone(c), Khawaja Nafay, Fabian Allen, Jason Holder, Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Amir, Khuzaima Tanveer Impact Subs: Azam Khan, George Scrimshaw

UAE Bulls Preview

UAE Bulls have entered the playoffs in strong shape and carried that punch into the Eliminator against Ajman Titans, where they secured another confident win after scoring a colossal 162-3 on the board – the joint highest team total in the tournament. They look dangerous at this stage and will trust themselves to push hard in the second Qualifier.

A large portion of their plan revolves around Philip Salt, whose early stroke play has shaped many of their bursts in this Abu Dhabi T10 League, as was seen in the Eliminator, where he blasted 59 off 23. His 236 runs at a strike rate of 235 in this edition reflect the type of tempo he brings from ball one. Another brisk effort of 25 plus while pushing the rate past 220 again is expected from the opener.

Tim David adds more power through the middle and offers another hitter who can strike freely from his first few balls. His strike rate of 235 through the middle and end overs gives the Bulls further control, and they will hope for another short, quick push from him in the second qualifier.

Rovman Powell and Tom Moores can settle the innings if early wickets affect the rhythm, and both can score above 200.

Junaid Siddique has guided their attack throughout the event with eight wickets at an economy of 10. Muhammad Rohid Khan and Fazalhaq Farooqi have kept steady lines and have produced seven wickets between them. Sunil Narine may be used in shorter bursts, relying on his variations in pace to hold the scoring rate in check.

UAE Bulls Predicted Playing XI:

Philip Salt(w), James Vince, Rovman Powell, Tim David, Kieron Pollard(c), Iftikhar Ahmed, Romario Shepherd, Sunil Narine, James Coles, Junaid Siddique, Muhammad Rohid Khan Impact Subs: Tom Moores, Qais Ahmad, Fazalhaq Farooqi

Weather Conditions

The Sheikh Zayed pitch will give batters a good platform to score runs from the outset. Fast bowlers can make things uncomfortable with the new ball across the first handful of overs, but runs usually come quickly through the powerplay phase once batters settle in. After the ball gets older, the deck offers less pace, and spinners can build pressure by keeping things tight. Towards the end, dew could complicate matters for the side chasing.

Weather conditions in Abu Dhabi are hot and dry, so no rain will disrupt proceedings. Each side will complete their scheduled overs in full.

First innings scores at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in T10 cricket tend to average around 110 runs. Throughout this edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League, the bulk of totals have fallen somewhere between 100 and 115. If the team batting first can push their score up near 125 at this venue, they will create real problems for the chasing side.

Toss: To Bowl

Sheikh Zayed Stadium has shown a clear preference: chasing is the way to go. During the previous 14 matches of the 2025 Abu Dhabi T10 League, 12 toss winners decided to bowl first. Given the pattern, it’s almost certain that the captain winning the toss here will look to field first.

UAE Bulls and Quetta Qavalry have both been solid through the tournament, but come into the second Qualifier with contrasting form – the Bulls have won two in a row, while Quetta have lost two on the bounce. Looking at the two teams man for man, the Bulls have more firepower right through their lineup, although Quetta have played some excellent cricket themselves and can beat any opponent when they get it right. After considering the recent form of both teams, we think the Bulls will get through this match.

Pick UAE Bulls as the winners of the second Qualifier.
